Jay & Kalpana

Jay Bhati is a dedicated yoga teacher, fitness enthusiast, and nutrition advocate with a passion for holistic well-being. Blending movement with mindfulness, he guides students to connect more deeply with their bodies and minds. Originally from India and now based in Hamilton, New Zealand, Jay draws from years of experience and the spiritual teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. As one of the few Kriya yoga practitioners (kriyabans) in New Zealand, he integrates yogic philosophy, physical fitness, and inner stillness in his teaching. Jay has recently published his book Let’s be a part time yogi
Kalpana is a certified yoga teacher with a deep passion for holistic health. She combines mindful movement, fitness, and nutrition to support physical and mental well-being. A proud classical dancer and skilled home cook, Kalpana weaves culture and nourishment into her lifestyle. Her warm, balanced approach, shaped by her role as a dedicated mother, makes her a vibrant and inspiring guide for anyone on a wellness journey.
