Jo came to yoga later in life after having spent years working in stressful corporate environments. Always wanting to learn from the ground up, she did her teacher training in Vinyasa Flow with Eoin Finn, founder of Blissology in 2017. Blown away by the experience she completed her 500hour training with Eoin and now teaches primarily Vinyasa Flow and Hathaclasses at Nelson’s City Fitness gym.
She also runs retreats in New Zealand and Tonga that allow people to disconnect fully and immerse themselves in Nature, whilst supporting conservation, something she is passionate about. Deep connection to Nature is a core principle of her architectural practice, which she runs from her home in Tasman, where she lives with her partner, Missy Moo her rescue dog and Laverne the Alpaca.
Jo’s style is inclusive, open and perceptive – her goal is thatpeople feel relaxed and comfortable, whatever their level of experience and enjoy themselves, whether it’s their first yoga class or one of many.
