Lily is a certified Hatha and Ashtanga yoga teacher with 500 hours of training, completed in 2023. She trained in India in Rishikesh, where she completed her 300-hour in-person teacher training after finishing a 200-hour course online.
While Ashtanga is an important part of her personal practice, Lily primarily teaches Hatha yoga, which she loves for its balanced, mindful, and accessible approach. Her classes emphasize proper warm-up, joint preparation, body awareness, and safety, allowing students to move at their own pace and honor their individual needs.
Each class is thoughtfully structured, beginning with Pawanmuktasana and progressing into Surya Namaskar and focused asana sequences. Practices end with deep relaxation, sound from handmade copper bowls brought from India, and a moment of gratitude.
Lily has been practicing yoga for over ten years and lives in alignment with its philosophy both on and off the mat.
