Soham

Soham (pronounced So-hum) offers a calm, steady approach to yoga practice, rooted in traditional principles and guided by the breath. His classes blend mindful movement with moments of stillness, encouraging students to slow down, listen inward, and move with awareness rather than momentum.
Introduced to yoga at a young age by his father, himself a yoga teacher, Soham’s journey began as a physical practice and gradually evolved into a deeper exploration of breath, awareness, and inner balance. He completed his formal training in India over a decade ago, and has since taught in ashram settings, private sessions, community events, and now within fitness spaces.
His teaching is rooted in traditional practice, complemented by Vinyasa-style and modern transitions, with a clear emphasis on pranayama (breath regulation). Classes are unhurried, intentional, and quietly challenging – inviting students to tune in, rather than chase intensity.
For Soham, yoga is not limited to the mat – it is a way of life. As a lifelong student of yoga, he continues to deepen his understanding while sharing the practice with a wider community, and looks forward to connecting, learning, and growing alongside like-minded souls at the festival.
