Simone Grant

Simone Grant is the founder of Yoga Spirit, a sanctuary devoted to holistic wellbeing, embodied living, and the inward journey home.

With more than 10 years of dedicated practice and teaching, Simone offers a warm, authentic and heart-led approach that gently guides students beyond the physical practice of yoga and into a deeper experience of presence, self-awareness and inner connection.

Rooted in ancient yogic wisdom, her teachings weave together Yin Yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, Vedanta philosophy and Ayurveda to support nervous system regulation, deep rest and meaningful transformation. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within them, creating spaces where students can soften, slow down and remember their innate wholeness.

A Level Two certified yoga teacher and Ceremonial Cacao facilitator based in Whanganui, Simone shares retreats, workshops, ceremonies and classes through Yoga Spirit, inspiring people to live more in rhythm with nature, the seasons and their own true nature.

As winter invites us inward, this deeply nourishing practice offers space to slow down, soften and replenish.

Through a series of long-held, supported Yin Yoga postures, we’ll gently release tension in the connective tissues, calm the nervous system and cultivate stillness within. The practice will then transition into a guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), inviting profound rest, restoration and inner renewal.
Suitable for all levels, this session is an opportunity to pause, reconnect and honour the quiet wisdom of the winter season.
