Adri Shaw lives in South Wairarapa with her husband, two children, three cats, and a chicken, and leads yoga through Love and Core.
A dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years, Adri has been teaching for the past three years and has explored a wide range of yoga styles throughout her journey. While she primarily teaches Vinyasa, Flow, and Restorative Yoga, her deepest inspiration remains rooted in traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
Having experienced periods where injury, illness, and the demands of raising a family took her away from regular practice, Adri brings a grounded, compassionate, and realistic approach to teaching. She understands that yoga must fit within the realities of everyday life and honours the changes in body, energy, and mindset that come with different life stages. Her classes create a supportive space where students are encouraged to meet themselves exactly as they are, cultivating strength, awareness, and self-compassion both on and off the mat.
