When you ask Ann-Maree when she started yoga, there is always a pause. “I feel like yoga has been in my life all my life”.
Having been trained in various traditions over more years than she can remember, Ann-Maree’s classes are alignment-based and breath centred.
Her teaching is heavily influenced by her own sitting meditation practice, connecting with her students and infusing her Māori culture into her classes through tinana, hā, hinengaro, wairua and to create a sense of whānau to move into the space of whakaora.
Her love of music adds to her unique teaching style along with a dash of curiosity and a sense of humour where we have an amazing opportunity to build a beautiful, supportive community that is committed to hauora, holistic health, through yoga.
