Celestina, a woman in her 50s with roots in both Germany and Italy, has called Napier home for over two decades. With a background as a businesswoman and mother, the demands of a busy life once left little room for self-care, leading to stress, physical tension, and back pain. This turning point sparked a journey into yoga, which has now spanned over 13 years and included training in various styles, including traditional teachings received in India. For the past six years, Celestina has been sharing this knowledge through her own yoga classes.
Driven by personal transformation and a deep desire to support others in their healing journeys, she has immersed herself in the study and practice of holistic modalities. Certified as a Reiki Master and Theta Healer, her path has also included exploration of meditation, breathwork, martial arts—including a second dan in karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—and astrology. These diverse disciplines form the foundation of her unique approach to wellbeing, which is grounded in the belief that healing begins in the mind.
Celestina’s yoga teaching focuses on mindful movement, supporting each individual without pushing the body into discomfort. Her philosophy is influenced by the teaching that while body flexibility is beneficial, cultivating mental flexibility is even more essential. Every class concludes with Yoga Nidra and Reiki energy practices, inviting deep relaxation and alignment of body and mind.
